Movies are also an excellent way to enjoy a rainy day. Although there are several theaters that call Houston home, there are a few that have their own unique flair.
The Showboat Drive-In is the perfect venue if you are looking for a place out of the ordinary to view movie screenings. This venue is located in Hockley, which is located on the outskirts of town. However, it is the perfect place to watch a movie on a rainy afternoon.
This venue has been opened since the mid-200s, and is owned by the same family who owns the Showboat Drive-In Restaurant.
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema was founded in Austin, but has several locations in the Houston area. There are complete meals and drinks offered on the menu that you are able to order while watching your movie.
